Abstract:
This paper proposes a global analysis of companies' intellectual property strategies using data collected by survey of IP / legal managers or general management of companies of various sizes and sectors (302 respondents). The aim is to present a more global overview of the potential interactions between the different IP rights and the link between the IP strategy and the general strategy of companies, whereas the literature mainly offers only a few in-depth case studies of the way in which companies combine several IP rights.
